I learnt a whole lot from the three drafts. I choose a topic that was difficult for
me to condense in just two pages. While I was making effort to condense my
story in two pages, I failed to fully explain the major areas of my essay. I also
observed that in my first draft, I tried to introduce my essay when I was
expected to go straight to the main topic since it was a personal and a short
essay. Professor Brian Lorin was able to pin point these mistakes and also
gave me tips on how to improve on my second draft. My second draft was
alright and the correction was minimal. By the final draft, I was able to
achieve the desired result-An essay that really conveyed my story to my
audience in a short and precise language. Thanks to Professor Lorin.
